Univ. Prof. Dr. Peter Kenning
Professor Peter Kenning (born 1970) is Professor of Marketing on the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Germany. He received his doctorate in business administration at the Westfälische Wilhems University in Münster. In December 2011, Professor Kenning was appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board of the academic advisory “Consumer and Nutrition Policy” of the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV). In 2012, Professor Kenning was also appointed to the Coordinating Council of the Consumer Research Network of the Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection (BMJV) and has been the spokesman of the coordination committee since January 2015.
The scientific emphases of Professor Kenning`s work are multifaceted and include the research fields of consumer behavior as well as quantitative marketing research. To date, Professor Kenning has published twelve books and more than one hundred articles in nationally and internationally prestigious journals. His work has been awarded various national and international prizes.
