Priorities

Ms. Halm’s work focusesprimarily on economic and legal consumer protection and digital matters.

Topics therefore include, for example, questions about trade, crafts, traditional services and debt collection. In addition,  Ms. Halm deals intensively with digital issues such as the platform economy, social networks and reviewmechanisms.

Ms. Halm is regularly active as an expert on consumer issues in committees and in public relations. It was also able to contribute to legislative procedures by issuing opinions or as an expert.  As an author, she has published consumer-relevant texts, including: “Gambling and consumer protection – more interfaces than expected!  ”  (ZfWG 5/22), “Does the new debt collection law achieve the set goal?  ” (BRAK 5/21),  §§ 11ff. VSGB im Kommentar VSBG – Verbraucherstreitbeilegungsgesetz (Althammer, Meller-Hannich).

She was also  responsible for the participation of the Bavarian Consumer Advice Centre in the  federal project “Market Watchdog Digital World” funded by the BMJV. Here she has also participated as a team leader in several investigations.
